Collection: Ilmor 6000 MPI 6.0L - 125 Hour Service

FEAD Mount Ilmor 6000 MPI 6.0L. To maintain proper use of your MasterCraft Boat engines, and their cooling temperature. Ilmor requires the impeller to be changed every 125 hours. Failure to due so can cause catastrophic engine failure. This should be done every 125 hours or 2 years

INSPECT
It is always a good idea to look over your boat. Checking gauges, voltage, and that everything works properly. No real inspection from Ilmor for this service interval. I normally just check Sea Strainer, Engine Alignment, and go through the boat to always make sure the boat doesn't need anything else.

CHANGE

•  raw water impeller

CHECK

• You must look at your Raw Water Pump. Due to changes in the design the pumps on older engines are not crank mounted. They are FEAD mounted.
