Ilmor MV8 5.7L - 50/75 Hour Service

The Ilmor MV8 5.7L engine is no longer offered in the MasterCraft boat line.
50/75 hours services for Ilmor MV8 6.0L engine should be performed at 50/75 hours, or annually to help prevent internal wear of your engine. Oil changes are required due to how much weight is added to your MasterCraft Boat. 

INSPECT
Perform a Basic inspection of the engine for water leaks when running on the hose or in water. Inspect the Sea Strainer, and as Stated before. Perform the same inspection as in the annual service.

CHANGE

  • Engine oil and filter - The oil is not 5w30. It is 15w40 for the engine and transmission
