If you continue to use the boat passed it's regular 150 hour service you can cause pre detonation, Miss fires, and can make the engine run rough while working harder. At my service center I follow all guidelines set forth by the manufacture, and have zero B-Backs because of it.

You should still be doing a regular inspection of your engine. I do the Annual inspection every time I work on a boat. I look for things that can become an issue, and correct them to grantee my customers a flawless boat experience.
