Annual Service
All Service intervals are taken directly from Ilmor's website, and are the most up to date requirements for maintaining your Ilmor warranty. Please note that your printed manual is only as good as the day it is printed, and that owners should go to the website for the most current service requirements.
Break-in Service
The ilmor break in service on your MasterCraft 6000 GDI 6.2L is for new boat owners. This service should be performed before or by 50 hours. The service can take palce anytime after 10 hours. It allows us to make sure that everything from the factory is running, and working correctly.
50 Hour Service
All boat and engine manufactures are requiring oil changes to take place more frequently. This is from how much load is being put on these engines to push them through the water.
75 Hour Service
With the boats that we service and maintain. The 75 hours is very important. This job can be performed in minutes, and save your summer
100 Hour Service
Fuel quality today is very low, and lake gas can get contaminated very quickly. I travel all over california performing services, and this is something I do regularly.
150 Hour Service
On these newer engines with horse power, and tourqe, and load, and all the other variables that go into giving you the best experiance. Spark pugs changes are half of the older gen engines. Those engines can not handle the massive amount of weight these new engines take to be able to get your boat on plane.
300 Hour Service
If you made it this far you are a real boater who loves what they do. Now love what gets you there. With Ilmor Marine's outstanding warranty. You want to stay ontop of these services to keep you confident in going another 300 hours
500 Hour Service
If you have a 2019 or older GDI engine. You will need to change out the side mounted oil bath filled Raw Water Pump. In this service I did include the conversion kit. If you buy the conversion kit, you will not need to buy the old style pump.
2 Year Service
For your GDI engines. It is very important to stay ontop of this service. As I continue to build the site i will include tools used to perform this service.
5 Year Service
Lets Make sure your MasterCraft Boat, and Ilmor Engine run another 5 years. This service is for the Raw Water Pump. Please note that if you are getting to 300 hours on the 2020+ or 500 hours on 2019- engine models. Before you get to this 5 year mark. you must perform the services sooner.
